Farm Visit: Cameron Organic Farm Part 2

We had chance to visit Cameron again because Mike has a visitor this time. So i called up Mr Lee in advanced to see if he was around to take us to visit his other farm. I really appreciate as he was just back from KL late night the day before and he was happily took us to his other farm the next day morning. This farm is between the Kea Farm Market and Brinchang town. It was school holiday. As usual, we met at the Steamboat Restaurant. Could you imagine we jammed all the way from Brinchang.... better avoid to visit Cameron during school holidays.

Higher view of the farm.

Lots of English cabbage plants. The silver color cover is used to protect the vegetable plant as insects dislikes the reflection. It also prevent the growth of weeds.

We do share foods with other living creatures!

Snails!!

The farm is watered using the underground water. There were little fishes inside the ponds.

We tasted the water and it was sweet and cooling. How nice it is used to nourish our vegetable plants.

Wild grown "tong xin cao" which are commonly used to widen the narrow blood vessels.

The soil in the farm is very fertile. Mr Lee simply removed some soil to show us several worms crawling inside.

One month old carrot leaves. Very beautiful the leaves!

Who said no insects want to eat sweet potato leaves?

This is the purple cabbage plants. How nice if can see the purple cabbage.

Wild purple flower in the farm.

Little red flower.

Can you see spider?

Random picture the farm. :)

This trip we mostly saw the vegetable plants only due to the unexpected heavy rains and lack of sunshine causing the growth of vegetables was slowing down. Hopefully weather will back to sunny  in the next few weeks so that we can get our fresh organic vegetable for Chinese New Year. I have already ordered mine. Looking forward!
